I believe learning is something that we all do throughout our lives continuously. Not everybody embraces it, but when they do, a world of opportunity opens up. As a tutor, I want to help students love learning and become motivated to find out everything they can. This is the easiest way to bring about independent learners with solid learning skills they can apply to succeed in any subject. I can be the catalyst to help students love learning, achieve success academically, and lead successful lives. I'm currently attending the University of Rochester, where I'm studying for my bachelor's degrees in molecular genetics and international relations. I'm also on the premed path. I have tutored my own younger sister, volunteered as a tutor in my high school for students with learning disabilities, and gone through many accelerated and advanced courses. I enjoy helping students to find the point where they light up because they understand something. I can assist students in subjects such as algebra, calculus, history, government and politics, essays, general science, biology, middle school math, geometry, elementary school math, psychology, social sciences, trigonometry, writing, and test preparation for the ACT, Regents exams, and other standardized tests. In my spare time, I enjoy tennis, photography, playing the flute, power yoga, coffee, studying history, and more.
